How to make animals meditate?

Once, during a quiet meditation session, I was focusing deeply on my breath when I suddenly felt an odd “presence” beside me. Slowly opening one eye, I discovered it wasn’t enlightenment arriving early—it was my cat, staring straight at me like a tiny, judgmental guru. She sat perfectly still, matching my posture, and for a moment it looked as though she was meditating too. The seriousness on her face broke my concentration, and I burst out laughing, ruining my calm but gaining a hilarious memory. Ever since then, I joke that my cat is the true meditation master in the house.
